Never before there were so many pictures taken in a year than this year. I contributed to this photography-explosion with at least a thousand pictures.
This year I shot for work and fun in the Netherlands, Slovenia, Belgium, Croatia, France, Italy, Germany. Pictures of me were published in Dutch daily Noordhollands Dagblad, where I was employed till July, Slovenian daily Delo and Slovenian bicycle magazine Bicikel. I used five camera’s (2 canon DSLR’s, 1 compact Ricoh GX100, an analogue Canonet GIII QL17 and my Nokia phone).
I tried to capture remarkable, rememberable and beautiful moments. Here a selection of 38 captured split seconds of 2012.

I only noticed it when loaded the pictures to the computer.October 28. Participants of the Ljubljana Marathon get treated to some snow.In fall a series of violent protests spread through Slovenia. Here riot police stands guard in front of the Parliament on November 27.Busted. Police arrested dozens at a protest in Ljubljana on November 29.December 4. The canal has appeared in the main shopping street of Zaandam.A pancake with sugar. The Netherlands is covered in snow in the morning of December 7.December 8.
