January: Ice skating on the Weissensee in Austria.
February: More snow. My car got buried deep in it.
February: A sunny ride in the Vipava valley. 45 minutes from Ljubljana and snow-free.
March: The end of March. Again snow.
April: An energetic lecturer. Nestor Lopez, Head of Mission at the Venezuelan embassy in Ljubljana, stole the show at the meeting of the Slovenian Dutch Business Platform.
April: At the end of Queensday in the Netherlands two girls seem to be out of place here in Amsterdam.
May: Blossoming flowers in the Netherlands.
May: The cyclists in the Giro d’Italia look at the podium girls walk by before the start of stage 11 in Cave de Predil.
June: The first three in the prologue of the Tour of Slovenia don’t look very happy.
June: Moi, on the Vrsic mountainpass awaiting the cyclists of the Tour of Slovenia.
June: The Slovenia Times Summer Guide was printed. I was editor of the guide.
July: A sunny ride.
July: The little lake in Jezero. On sunday the 27th of July the temperature reached 40 degrees Celsius.
August: Lake Bohinj.
August: Biathlon centre on Pokljuka. Also in Summer the biathletes shoot.
An ordinary snapshot taken by our friend Erwin de Clercq that suddenly became very dear to me. In the middle Karel Verdonshot, on the right Peter de Groot and on the left me. A day later, Karel would die in a fall at the World Cycling Championships for Journalists in Austria.
September: Harvest time in Jakobski Dol near Maribor.

October: Sometimes you are lucky, sometimes, you are not. A flat tire.

October: The Red Hook Milano Criterium. A race for fixed gear bikes.

December: Ice on the Weissensee in Austria. The first skating trip of the winter.
